China Poblano Receives Tequila Certification
We take our tequila as seriously as we do our tacos and hand-cut noodles. And did you know? China Poblano is the only establishment in Nevada to be certified as an expert of tequila by the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (CRT), or the Tequila Regulatory Council of Mexico.
The CRT established the Distintivo T project in 2003 to increase the quality of tequila service and knowledge provided by professionals in the food and beverage industries. The staff of China Poblano went through an intense tequila training in 2019; learning the history of tequila, the cultivation of agave, and the production process. China Poblano will continue to serve only tequilas that are certified by the CRT, which is another distinct requirement of the certification.
