Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year at China Poblano
Year of the Horse✨🐎

February 17-23

We’re ringing in the Year of the Horse with bold flavors, festive traditions, and a menu made for good fortune. Known for strength, energy, and forward momentum, the Horse is all about starting the year strong — and we’re celebrating the best way we know how: with great food and cocktails.

We kick things off Wednesday, February 11 with a special Dim Sum Class, where guests will roll, fold, and feast alongside our chefs — a hands-on way to welcome the new year. 🥟

Our limited-time Lunar New Year menu features three symbolic dishes:
🥩 Kǎo Niúrò — sweet, caramelized Chinese BBQ–style beef short rib, inspired by Cantonese siu mei traditions
🥟 Pork & Scallop Siu Mai — scallops symbolize wealth and good fortune (they look like coins!)
🐟 Songshu Yu (Sweet & Sour Squirrel Fish) — whole fish for prosperity, because “fish” sounds like surplus in Chinese

And don’t skip the toast 🥂
🌸 Jasmine Lantern Lychee Martini — served with a red envelope for luck, prosperity, and sweet beginnings

Join us as we celebrate new beginnings, shared tables, and a year full of momentum, flavor, and fortune. 🧧
