This July, tropical tiki cocktails take a detour through Mexico. Join us July 1-31 for the return of Agave Tiki Takeover – a cocktail festival inspired by legendary tiki classics and reimagined through the lens of tequila, mezcal, and other agave spirits.
From smoky, spice-laden interpretations of iconic island drinks to bright citrus creations layered with unexpected complexity, each cocktail tells the story of a familiar favorite that wandered south and discovered something new.
Meet the 2026 line-up:
Jalisco Double: our take on Hemingway’s no-sugar daiquiri, with a mysterious agave twist. This is a drink for long afternoons and even longer memories.
Son of the Dead: three high-proof agave spirits in beautiful chaos. Our version of the Zombie trades the Caribbean for the high desert.
Desert Cure: a mezcal-and-cilantro Painkiller with real fire. This is what happens when the Caribbean breeze hits the Sierra Madre.
The Phantom Reef: a coconut-milk-clarified “invisible” Mai Tai. Smooth as a Jalisco sunset, this clarified cocktail gives all the tropical punch and spice you love.
